Cinemagraphs

Jamie Beck, a photographer from New York, has designed a series of animated GIFs, which is called cinemagraphs. As several of them in the lead role had a Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha whole thing soon became famous all over the internet. According to Jamie, cinemagraphs are “more than pictures, but not video.”
Unlike ordinary, well-known animated GIFs that exist since the internet, cinemagraphs isolate only certain movements, while the rest of the image is static. This provides an original, and even a bit creepy atmosphere.
Although it picked up all the glory for “patent”, Beck is not the first who began to deal with this kind of GIFs. Enchanting moving images but before he began tumblr “If we do not, remember me.” It is a fascinating collection of animated GIFs with a cinematic theme. Here are some examples:
